Each ski resort was given a score, which was included in the hot chocolate ranking as the "Lindt Ski & Sip" score. While the average price for hot chocolate in Austrian ski resorts is € 7.95 - incidentally the highest value in a European comparison - Alpbach impressed with its excellent value for money and the high quality of the drinks on offer. On average, skiers in Tyrol have to dig deeper into their pockets for a cup of hot chocolate than elsewhere in Europe. However, the comparatively high price is often reflected in the quality.
