If you want to get out in the fresh air after work, an evening ski tour should definitely be on your to-do list. Climb the mountain together with friends and enjoy the unique atmosphere under the stars. An incomparable experience that you should definitely have experienced once.
In Reith im Alpbachtal, the family downhill run on the Reither Kogel is lit up every Tuesday exclusively for ski tourers. In the Wildschönau, the touring evenings take place from Wednesday to Friday on the Markbachjoch or on the Schatzberg.
So pack your touring skis and headlamp and off you go!
Touring evening on the Reither Kogel
In Reith im Alpbachtal, the family downhill run is open every Tuesday from 06:30 p.m. to 09:30 p.m. for ski tourers. Take a ski tour from the valley station at the Reitherkogelbahn on the illuminated slope and enjoy the breathtaking view over the Alpbachtal.
Please note that no lifts are in operation on this evening.
When?
Tuesdays from 31 December 2024 until 04 March 2025 from 06:30 p.m. to 09:30 p.m.
Where?
Family slope no. 71 at the Reither Kogel in Reith i. A.
Parking is possible at the valley station of the Reitherkogelbahn cable car.

Night-time ski tours in the Wildschönau
An evening ski tour is perfect for getting a good workout in the fresh air after work. Once you reach the top, you can end the evening in a cosy atmosphere at the Gipfö Hit or the Norderbergalm. The downhill run in the moonlight is the crowning glory of a sporty evening.
On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, certain slopes in the Wildschönau are open for ski tourers.
Wednesday: Schatzberg
The Schatzberg downhill run to Auffach is open for ski tourers every Wednesday from 25 December 2024 until 10:00 p.m..
Please note diversions. The Gipfö Hit is also open.
Thursday: Markbachjoch
The Hochberg forest road to the Norderbergalm in Niederau is open every Thursday from 26 December 2024 until 10:00 p.m..
The Norderbergalm is also open.
Saturday: Markbachjoch
The Märchenwiesen downhill run (piste 19) in Niederau is open every Saturday from 21 December 2024 from 05:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. for ski tourers. The Markbachjochhütte is also open.
Please note
Please follow the instructions and be sure to respect the opening times. Afterwards, the slopes are prepared with winches and there is danger to life! Ascent and descent are only permitted via the marked piste.
